Ireland to Barcelona-Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go

So wake up call came at 4:45 a.m. and we didn't get to bed until midnight, so it seems like we have had no sleep at all.

Headed to the airport at 5:15 a.m. and arrived at 5:30. Went through check in and security within about 15 minutes even though the airport is packed.

We are now waiting for our flight on Aer Lingus to Barcelona. We arrive at 10:20 a.m. We are all wearing are heaviest clothes, shoes and sweatshirts on the flight, because I was concerned we were overweight on our 4 pieces of luggage I had to prepay for at 5 £uros each, but we sneaked through. I also had to pay 3 £uros each to pick our seats on the plane. My guess is when we get on the plane, I will have to pay for a Diet Coke too!

Our stop in Ireland has been great, but short. The No Jet Lag must have worked, because I haven't been feeling the effects of jet lag at all. Figure I'll get some sleep on the flight over to Barcelona.

Jamie and Robert are upstairs at the gate, and I am sitting downstairs on the Internet. Cost is 2 Euros for 20 minutes. I've paid for 40 minutes and am down to 8 minutes and 40 seconds and I'm suppose to be back at the gate within 5 minutes before Robert has a meltdown.

The best part of Ireland: all the green rolling hills (reminds me of There is a Green Hill Far Away) Sorry, I know only those that are Mormon will understand that reference. If you can't tell already, I like connecting things to songs.

My other thing about Ireland reminds me of the song "Will it Go Round in Circles". Can't remember who sang that in the 70's, but I have never driven so many roundabouts in all my life. With all the driving yesterday, I should have counted, but it feels like I have driven through hundreds of them!

The worst part of Ireland: all the rain. Did I mention all the rain? Wish the weather would have been more cooperative.

Okay, headed up to our flight so Robert can relax. Next stop Barcelona. Today we are going on our segway tour with Edgar through the gothic quarter, the beaches and the Olympic area and the zoo and park (I only know this because Robert and I did this in May and booked to come back with Jamie). And then tomorrow morning before we are getting on the Disney Magic we are going to the Chocolate Factory. Don't know if Willy Wonka will show up, but I can't wait to see all the chocolate and eat some (this is not something Robert chose to do).

Okay, headed to gate A4.

Sea U Later in Barcelona!
